CMF Phone 1 Design Revealed by Nothing and It Packs a Punch

Introduction

London-based tech start-up Nothing stays in tech headlines for its out-of-the-box design elements and aesthetics. Its sub-brand, CMF by Nothing, took the wraps off its debut smartphone, the CMF Phone 1 on Wednesday.

Design of the CMF Phone 1

The highlight of the design aspect of the phone is the wide customization options that come with the Phone 1. It will also come with a few accessories that are unique in the domain. The customizations will be based on functionalities, some of which are – a strap for carrying easily and a kickstand for hands-free usage. However, it is not known presently whether the accessories will be provided in the box itself or will be available for buying externally.

“The CMF Phone 1 stands out with its unique, adaptable nature, inviting users to take on a co-designer role with its interchangeable accessories and covers. This adaptability allows users to make the CMF Phone 1 their own, reflecting personal style and preferences,” the company said in a release.

The availability will be in four colors: Black, Orange, Light Green, and Blue. The Black and Light Green color options will come with a textured finish whilst the the Blue and Orange will come with a Vegan Leather back which is a first for the whole line-up of Nothing.

Other Specifications of the Phone 1

The CMF Phone 1 will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 paired with RAM of 8GM and storage starting at 128GB. The display will be a 6.67″ AMOLED 120Hz Display with 2,000 nits peak brightness. The phone will have a 50MP dual Sony camera setup. The secondary camera will be a Portrait one. Rumors suggest that the selfie camera will be a 16MP one. The battery is supposed to be a 5,000mAh power pack that will give 2 days worth of life.

Launch Details and Pricing

The Phone 1 is set to launch on the 8th of July with the live event streaming on here. Besides the phone, CMF will also launch the Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2. The phone will be aggressively priced and will be below the ₹20,000 mark.
