CMF Phone 1 New Leak:

CMF Phone 1 is to launch soon as a phone from the Carl Pei-drove Nothing’s sub-brand CMF. The brand is yet to affirm this moniker but, an insider has already tipped the supposed features and pricing of the handset, recommending that it would be a rebranded Nothing phone 2a. The CMF By Nothing Phone 1 is said to include a 6.67-inch OLED screen and uniform thick bezels and a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset instead of the Dimensity 7200 Pro on the Phone 2a. The CMF by Nothing Phone 1 is said to convey the model number A015 as per a leak on X.
Insider @realMlgmXyysd has proposed the cost and details of CMF by Nothing Phone 1 on X. The insider news shows that it will be in the price bracket of $249 and $279 (between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 23,000) and will be launched in July 2024 around the launch of the Nothing Phone 3. This is contradictory to the previous leak stating that it’s price would be likely to be around $140(Rs. 12,000). It is said to get a replaceable plastic back cover/vegan leather back and could miss the Glyph-light interface like its elder brother Phone 2a.
CMF Phone 1 is tipped to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU and entailing 6+2 GB of LPDDR4X Memory, the equivalent chipset found on the Nothing Phone 2a. It is said to include a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The Phone 2a has a somewhat bigger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen than its lower counterpart. The phone is also said to get a Widevine L1 support for streaming HD content. It could come with Android 14-based Nothing operating system 2.6.
A new leak suggests that there will be a “Nothing Lock”(as seen above) which is expected to be used as an unlocking button for the back panel.
The brand is said to reveal the CMF by Nothing Phone 1 in 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2 capacity choices with the help of a microSD card unlike the Phone 2a. It could include a double camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a video recording capacity of up to 4K@30fps. It is said to come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera as seen in the Phone 2a.

Like the Phone 2a, the CMF by Nothing Phone 1 is tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W quick charging which is slightly slower than the charging speed that is offered with the Phone 2a of 45W. It could offer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 availability choices.
According to the gradual leaks, it will come in dark, blue, green, and orange shades. The orange colorway is supposed to be selective to the Indian market.
