Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in the upcoming Nag Ashwin movie, Kalki 2898AD alongside co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, and others.

Kalki 2898 AD is to be released on 27th June 2024. The movie will be based on the dystopian post-apocalyptic city of Kashi and will take inspiration from other Hindu scriptures. The movie will see the above-mentioned stars play the key roles.

The pre-release event for the movie was held on Wednesday in Mumbai. Ahead of the event, mom-to-be Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram and posted a monochrome picture of her baby bump along with two other posts of her showing jewelry and her high heels captioning “Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!”

Deepika shares her experience with working with director Nag Ashwin. “It has been an incredible experience. Like Mr Bachchan said, it is a completely new world. We went through different phases of discovering what this movie was about, but I think the magic that is in Nagi’s head is now finally here for everyone to see. We have discovered that along the way. It has been an incredible experience both personally and professionally,” she said.
