Camera
According to our sources, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will feature a triple camera layout just like its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. The smartphone will offer o 50-megapixel primary camera, a 1/1.57-inch ISOCELL GN3 sensor with 1.0μm pixels. This is the same sensor used in the Samsung Galaxy S24 highlighting an upgrade from the previous lineup. The secondary or the selfie camera will most probably as 1–megapixel or 12-megapixel shooter.
Display
Rumors suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be a compact phone with a display size of 6.1 inches. A decrease of 0.3 inches will be observed as compared to the previous lineup of S23 FE. The Galaxy S24 FE will bring a 120 hz AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. However, a few sources have suggested that the phone will probably feature a 6.65-inch screen making it even buggier than all the past FE lineups.
Battery
The handset will be powered by a 4500mAh battery clubbed with a support of 25 watts charger. However, the charger will be sold separately as usual. Otherwise, there are not any noticeable upgrades regarding the battery department of the Galaxy 24 FE when compared to the Galaxy 23 FE.
Performance and Storage
There are mixed renders regarding the processors that will be used in the Galaxy S24 FE. However, it is expected that the smartphone will come either with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset or an Exynos 2400. The version with an Exynos 2400 processor is most likely to be launched in India and Europe just like the S23 FE. The CPU in the smartphone will be a 3.3 GHz, Octa Core Processor. It is leaked that the S24 FE will have 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The RAM is offered to power the Galaxy AI features in the upcoming FE smartphone.
Design
The upcoming smartphone could measure 162 x 77.3 x 8mm. It is leaked that the smartphone will bring a curved display making it the first model in the FE lineup to offer a curved panel. There will be punch hole in the middle of the display holding its secondary camera. The back of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will have triple cameras in a vertical lineup which is becoming the signature design of the Samsung smartphones. The bottom panel will contain a SIM tray slot and a USB Type-C port. Lastly, the right side panel will be used to place the volume rockers and power buttons.
Release Date and Pricing
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be announced in October 2024. However, there is a strong chance that the smartphone can be launched in early 2025. The Indian pricing for the base variant is rumored to be around ₹59,999. For the US it is expected that the smartphone will be priced at $699 for the base variant.
