Display
The upcoming Xiaomi 15 will feature a 144 Hz LTPO panel with 1.5K resolution. In simple words, the display will have 440 x 3200 pixels offering an AMOLED with 1.07 billion colours. It is expected that the panel will be a 6.36-inch flat display just like the Xiaomi 14. Leaks suggest that the screen-to-body ratio of the smartphone will be more than 90% to promote an immersive experience to the users. Moreover, the aspect ratio is leaked to be 20.5:9 making it a close to compact phone. The beautiful display will also be a home to the Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, which is a major upgrade to the Xiaomi 14.
Camera
The back panel of the smartphone will be equipped with three powerful cameras each with a 50-megapixel sensor. The primary camera will be a 1/1.3-inch shooter, the second will have an ultra-wide lens along with third one will be a telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom. It is rumored that the secondary or selfie camera of the Xiaomi 15 will be a 32-megapixel shooter. All four cameras will offer larger apertures than the previous Xiaomi 14.
Performance
The most major upgrade is the possibility of being the first smartphone in the world to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The performance of the Xiaomi 15 will be further enhanced by 16GM of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Battery
Xiaomi 15 will most probably feature a 5000mAh battery while keeping a thin framework and structure. This is a major upgrade from the 4,610mAh battery in the Xiaomi 14. Additionally, a significant jump can be seen from a 90-watt hyper charger with high power input and speed. Launch Date and Pricing
It is expected that the Xiaomi 15 will be launched in October 2024. For the base variant in India, the pricing may start from Rs 57,990 for the base variant. The smartphone will be launched in two colours black and white. The design will be pretty much similar to the previous lineup, with improved stereo speakers and vibration motors for a better experience. Furthermore, the overall smartphone will be built to be stronger and rigid while offering a flagship experience.
