In a viral dashcam video that surfaced on the internet, a car is seen crashing the back of a scooter which brings both the driver and the other seater to the ground. This leaked video is said to be from a road in Bangalore and shows how carelessly people drive their vehicles on the road.
The incident occurred on the road’s right side on a busy day in Bangalore. As seen in the post, the Activa was carrying two persons and a few boxes. A Kia Seltos came from behind without deaccelerating in time after the signal turned red and hit the scooter bringing the driver and his pillion to the ground in a matter of seconds.
Neither of them sustained severe injuries and the people inside the car came forth to help in time without escalating the matter further. This video was recorded from another car’s dashboard which was in front of the scooter.

Another user in the post’s comment section points out that helmets were unsafe even when worn on Indian roads and says “These helmets have proven to be of 0 use. They came off at the exact moment they were required. These helmets are only suitable for evading traffic cameras. These won’t save any lives.” while another adding some humor wrote “They were lucky. These cricket helmets don’t save lives. Girne se pehle helmet utar gaye dono ke.“
