Screen
The screen size of the iPhone 16 Plus is rumored to remain the same at 6.7 inches with a considerate resolution of 2796 X 1290 pixels. This would give it a Pixel-per-inch count of 460. However, the thinner bezels will majorly impact the viewing experience.

Design
One major revamp will be with the camera layout of the iPhone 16 Plus. Instead of diagonal cameras like the past three generations of iPhone, this one is rumored to feature vertical cameras like the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11. The said iPhone will pack a frosted glass back like it’s predecessor, iPhone 15 Plus. The iPhone is also said to encompass a “Capture Button” which will have multiple functionalities like zoom-in, zoom-out and capture images. The full features of the button is still not disclosed.
Colours
Apple is known for providing updated colors with each of it’s iPhone launches. With the last launch, it unveiled its Color-infused glass back for the non-pro series of iPhones. It’s rumored that Apple may take the five colors of the iPhone 15 non-pro line-up, namely, blue, green, yellow, pink and black. And, two new colors will be introduced. Those are white and purple. However, a recent leak from Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo states that the colors for the iPhone 16 Plus would be black, white, green and pink.

Memory and Storage
A recent rumor suggested that there might be a bump in internal storage variants and the base models would start from 256GB of SSD as AI capabilities would be more demanding on the storage. However, it seems that Apple might increase the memory to be one of 8GB.
Performance
The one thing that Apple excels in is its high and consistent performance and the the A18 Bionic chips will perform head to head with the top-performers from Snapdragon and Exynos. As per MacRumors, the iPhone 16 Plus is said to offer A18 Bionic. This chip will have an improved CPU, an improved GPU and an improved neural engine for AI capabilities including Generative AI, AI Wallpapers, circle to search, etc. The hardware accelerated ray-tracing can be enjoyed better as more upcoming games will be supported on the iPhone.
Camera
The iPhone 16 Plus camera will be the same like it’s predecessors featuring a 48 Megapixel snapper. Some rumors claimed that there might be an increase in the resolution offerings of the Ultrawide camera. The primary and ultrawide camera will have features like focus information locking, ability to shoot 24Megapixel shots with efficient data size, ability to shoot videos aupto4K@60fps, etc. The selfie camera is said to feature the ever-so-consistent 12Megapixel champ. Samsung better have a good strategy on hold with it’s S-Series of phones to surpass the videography capabilities of the iPhone 16 series.
Battery
This is disappointing for the users. Apple has decided to decrease the capacity of the battery to just 4,006mAh, which is a 6% decrease to it’s predecessor, the iPhone 15 Plus which boasted a 4,383mAh. Although it is expected that the charging speeds might increase for the whole line-up of iPhone this year.
Release Date
Past releases make us expect the release date to be in mid to late September this year.
Pricing
